My story
My journey to acting was long and adventurous. The calling came to me as a response to a broken heart.

10 Facts About Me
I have a B.A. in Psychology & a certificate in Global Leadership from the University of Montana.
The first play I was in was in 5th grade. I played Bessie the Cow in Jack and the Beanstalk.
I had a strong southern accent until I moved from Texas to Montana when I was 5 years old.
I love nature and often go off-grid camping alone with my dog in the summer.
I am neurodivergent. My senses and emotions are heightened and more intense than most folks.
I lived in Ireland from 2008 to 2015. It is where I learned how to love myself and how to love life.
The first movie I was an extra in was called Shadow Dancer. The scene was a riot at a funeral. It didn’t make the final cut.
I am gender queer/gender fluid. Sometimes I feel like a King. Sometimes I feel like a Queen.
I have been a strong advocate for mental health and suicide prevention for over a decade.
The first role in a student film I was cast in was as a hippy dominatrix. I graduated before filming took place so I never got to bring Ivy to life.

My sister and I spent countless days acting out scenes from our favorite 90’s comedy shows & movies like SNL, MadTV, and anything with Jim Carrey, Adam Sandler, Mike Meyers, Chris Farley or Will Farrell.
I loved doing Mary Katherine Gallagher skits, played by the hilarious Molly Shannon on SNL. At the end of each skit Mary Katherine throws herself through a wall, piece of furniture or bathroom stall.
I remember having a blast building fake walls out of couch cushions with more cushions, pillows or blankets behind it for safety and then hurling myself into it full force at the end of the skit. Good times.
In 5th grade I had my first opportunity to get a taste of the stage. I sang the opening solo in our school musical, Jack and the Beanstalk, dressed in a cow costume as I played the distraught Bessie, lamenting over being sold due to my family facing poverty and starvation.
During one rehearsal, while I was mid-song, a boy in the chorus yelled out, “Why does she get to be Bessie? She can’t even sing!”
I thought he was just jealous. I knew I couldn’t sing and I didn’t care. I got on up on that stage in my cow costume & sang my heart out, and loved every second of my mediocre performance.
Later that year I was in another school performance. It was a D.A.R.E. musical piece about drug addiction performed to Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler.
I was on my high school dance team. I loved getting to perform during half times and pep rallies. That is where I discovered the freedom of creative expression, learned how to let creative energy move through my body & become art, and my deep love for dancing.
When I was 16 I attended a youth leadership conference in Idaho with about 300 other 16 to 17 year olds from the region. One night they had a talent show. Standing in the spotlight on the stage in my little black dress, red lipstick and black sunglasses, I sang “Travelin’ Soldier” by the Dixie Chicks. Acapella. All 5 minutes of it. And I still could not carry a tune in a bucket. It was awesome. After the talent show I joined everyone for karaoke.

I have been prone to impulsive, big life changes as far back as I can recall. In high school I started partying and felt that I needed to make a change so I stopped with the shenanigans and became Mormon.
I married a Mormon Spaniard at age 19 & got divorced at 22. My brother and a friend took me out dancing to celebrate my new found freedom. I woke up the next morning to find a confirmation email for a non-refundable, one-way plane ticket to Ireland. So I moved to Dublin the next day.
